Our Engagement!

On September 4, 2010, Kevin proposed to me on a gorgeous beach in Mexico! (He didn't propose by writing the above in the sand...I made him do that later!  We couldn't find a stick, so he wrote it with a coconut after he asked me!)   We went to Mexico for a dear friend's wedding.  It was the most romantic place ever!  We loved being there and can't wait to go back!  After being there for a couple of days, we were walking on the beach and I turned around and he was on one knee.  He asked four questions that I will NEVER forget
"Do you love me?"
"Will you ALWAYS love me?"
"Will you spend the rest of your life with me?"
"Will you marry me?"
....I said yes.  It was the most surreal moment of my life.

We called our families (yes, Daddy already knew because Kevin had called him to ask for his blessing!)
I was totally surprised and completely overwhelmed.  I cried so much I don't think he even heard me say YES!  We were returning to our room to get ready for Sharon and Brandon's dessert/toast party and we saw Sharon....we just looked at her and she KNEW! : )  The next day, there was a bottle of champagne sent from Sharon and Brandon to celebrate our engagement.  SO sweet and SO thoughtful since it was THEIR wedding that we were truly celebrationg.
